I should mention the wonderful stampers who participated in this exchange. There are cards by Catherine Cazier, Julie Evensen, Laurie Hunt, Lois Wood, Doris Jensen, Marjorie Stapelman, and myself. All the cards were awesome and I hope it inspires more of you to join us each month. The information about the exchange is on my Stampin' Up! website: http://janahernstamps.stampinup.net/

Come join the fun!!

Well here we go again. I think I got it.
I just can't seem to get everything done anymore. I must be getting old!! LOL
Anyway, the month of March is quickly passing by and I am finally getting around to posting tthe exchange cards from this month. The theme was heat or dry embossing. There were a couple that I just couldn't get to photograph so they could be seen, so don't feel bad if yours doesn't show up. I'll get better with my camera. It was fun and I'm looking forward to next month - Designer papers used on cards.
Enjoy!!

Well I can't get the images to upload, so I'll have to work on them more and hopefully be able to upload later. Sorry!!

WOW It's March already...

Well I am totally amazed that it is March already. Time flies - whether you're having fun or not. I am uploading some pix of the card exchange I host every month. I'm a little slow, but I'll try to do better in the future.

Life is going along with lots of ups and downs. I will be glad when it warms up a bit and when the grass starts to come up and be green. I like to see the "new" of everything start to happening.

I am continually amazed at how awesome all the blogs I look at are, and I feel totally inept, but I'll keep at it until some kind soul reaches out and tries to teach me how to do things. I want to be able to post the specials from Stampin' Up!, but haven't figured out how to get them from my SU website over to this blog. I'll keep working on it. (Help Robin or Heather!!)

Well life is busy and I am learning daily how things happen even if we don't want them to. I am learning that we have to do the best we can, and then let God pick up the rest and bring us through.

One other GREAT thing. Yesterday was voice festival and my daughter's first time singing at it. Melanie has been fighting a cold, and so her voice wasn't in it's best form, but there wasn't anything she could do about it, so off we went. She sang her "least favorite" song first, and the judge was thrilled, then she went on to the next one. The judge was really impressed and gave her a "ticket" as one of the 6 best of the day from her, and told her they would be picking the best 2 from those six to come back that evening for a concert. Melanie had to work that night, so we told her teacher that even if she was picked she wouldn't be able to come. She was really honored that she would be given a slip. She left for work around 4:30 and her teacher called around 6 to let us know that she had been picked for the concert, but of course, she couldn't go. We were thrilled and she was so excited to be picked. By the way, she had gotten a superior. She had her recital on Thursday and did awesome at that also.

Well I have to get to bed, since work will come early tomorrow. I am going to the health fair blood draw before work so morning will come early. Have a great day.
